We have a new routine every night. Mallory loves to get ready for bed, then read "5 Little Monkeys." She almost has the whole book memorized. She says, "5 little monkeys took a bath, put their jammies on, brushed their teeth and then 5 little monkeys jumped on the bed." She goes through the whole book and says "Mama called the doctor said." All in one sentence. It is really cute to see her count the monkeys left and say each page as it comes up. The other night she burped in the middle of reading the story and she thought she was so funny. She laughed and laughed for like 5 minutes straight. Every time she tried to say the next part she would start laughing again. We thought it was so funny. Nothing compares to after the reading, we hold hands and have family prayers. She always says, "Bless Daddy's day" and she has started to say, "Bless the Bishop." This started when he was sick and asked Tim to come over and give him a blessing. Tim blessed the Bishop in his prayer and Mallory picked up on it and has said it pretty regularly since. She is so cute.

Pead Look-alike Meter
MyHeritage: Celebrity Collage - Family tree research![]()
Look at this. This is pretty crazy. I guess when people say that Mallory is a good mix between Tim & I, they are right on. She looks equally like both of us.

Mallory's Surgery
Check out this beautiful smile. Our little angel had to have the little flap of skin between her two front teeth cauterized. It was drooping half way down her two front teeth. It would get stuck when she talked and it got infected one time and was all swollen. We took her in to a pediatric dentist and they cauterized it. Mallory was awake the whole time and was a little trooper. She did a lot better than her mom. I cried when I found out that she wasn't going to be asleep for the operation. They only gave her some happy gas and then gave her some shots to numb the skin around her two front teeth. Tim watched the entire thing, but I had to turn away and cried when they gave her the shots and started cauterizing the skin away. Hopefully the swelling will go down soon, but it will be a good thing in the long run.

We just got back from an amazing cruise with my family. Mom & Dad gave everyone a 3-day cruise for Christmas. The entire family was able to come and receive a much needed break from our kids.

We attended a lot of shows and many of the family members were called up on stage to perform, compete, or become part of the act.
Our first night Chad was called up to play "Family Feud." His family (a.k.a. the Sanchez family) beat the other team and took away a solid gold plastic trophy.
Later that night, the family nominated mom to go up on stage because she needed to relax. The comedian made fun of her being from Utah and made her participate in a lip-sync. It was hillarious.
We stopped in Ensenada, but didn't go much farther than off the ship, because it was pouring the entire time. Everyone had to be bussed into the city and those coming back said that it was just a big mud puddle and not worth going in. The next day, Chad and Dennis competed in the hairiest chest competition and Dennis took home the crown.

We enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub, despite the rain and Tim was gutsy enough or crazy enough to go down the slide into ice cold water.

Later that night, Aaron and Janae got in on the action by being our newly weds and they also won the game.
We really enjoyed eating dinner every night together, playing games, dancing and eating some more. A side from the large waves and almost everyone getting a little sick (Dad, Chad, Carrie & Tim are the only ones that can brag about not needing to take any motion sickness medicine), We think this should turn into an annual tradition for the entire family.

Christmas with The Peads
This year we rented out 2 condos in Midway and spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with Tim's Family. We all took a meal and had a blast eating delicous food and getting fat.
We opened up all of our Christmas presents together. Jer played Santa Clause by passing out our presents and did a great job. Mallory loved her princess crown, magic mirror and matching slippers from Aunt Amy. She thought she was hot stuff walking around in high-heels.
