I went to the doctor this morning and they didn't do the ultrasound (that is scheduled for the 24th of Feb), but he checked everything else and he said it all looks great and right on schedule. The baby's heartbeat sounded strong, I measured just right and I gained a whopping 7 pounds this month! That was depressing for me, but the doctor said that was perfect. So, I have to keep that in mind...all I see is fat! =-(
I had been having a lot of cramps & lower pain followed by my stomach getting very hard and was worried that maybe it was trying to go into labor. He said that is totally normal as well and said not to worry unless it's happening 6+ times an hour for two hours. It hasn't been nearly that often, so that was a relief. Thank goodness I haven't had any bleeding and that is the biggest threat with this placenta previa. So, the 24th is when they can tell if the placenta has moved or if it's still covering the cervix. He still wants me down and taking it very easy until we know the results of the ultrasound. But, all is well for now. Stay tuned for an update on the ultrasound.
Thank you so much to all of our loved ones that have been so wonderful to take care of us this past month. I feel so loved and blessed by the kindness and generosity of so many of you. Love you all! Thanks!

Oh YEAH! I am have been checking ever day to see if you had an update. I am glad to hear that things are going good so far, I will cross my fingers for you guys.
Crazy!!! Good Luck - we will keep you in our prayers! Do you have good books you are reading and lots of good movies? There are days I feel like it would be nice to have to be in bed all day - but day after day - I think that would kill me! Stay Strong - it is well worth it! Plus - think of all the stories you can tell your kid!!
So glad to know that the baby is doing good. It sounds like you are also. We will keep praying for that placenta to move. I miss seeing you around. Keep us updated and take care!
I have been having those same blasted braxton hicks contractions all the time too. They hurt bad, but whenever you read about them they say, "they are normal and dont hurt" I am convinced it is a man who writes that crap. I am glad to hear things are going good. Hang in there!
I'm so happy that things are going well.
Glad to hear things are going well!
7 pounds in one month! Wow! Just kidding, I'm feeling pretty fat too. I gain so much when I am prego. But with Ethan most of it was water. I hope that all continues to go well for all of you! Good luck on the 24th. (ps we find out if we are having a boy or girl that day.)
Glad to hear things are moving right along in a good way! What were the results of the diabetes test? Keep taking it easy and when you're ready for a break from the house, let me know and I'll come get you and we'll do some digi-scrapping!!! :)
We are thinking about you and praying for you..... Love you Ash
